Awa-no-ōmimatsuri is one of the most important and biggest rituals for us.
We hold this annual event in the evening in Summer.
In the ritual, we worship the more peaceful life and the great developing future for all lives on the earth.
Wishes are written upon each strip of coloured paper called ‘Tanzaku’. They are hung to the bamboo strokes which is decollated by massive of handmade paper accessories.
After the ritual, we have a dancing event of Japanese traditional dances called ‘Ikutama-odori’ at the backyard with our neighbors, friends and visitors.
Holy spirits including our ancient, gods, angels and founders of any religions all over the world gather and enjoy with people sharing time.
So, sometimes, people who joined this event feel more energetic and healthier physically and mentally.
We would love you to join us to make it fun and great.

It is also called 'Hana-matsuri' which means flower festival, because we place beautiful flowers around the statue of Buddha to celebrate.
